The ancient game of Kabuji
With the conclusion of the battle of Telos and the establishment of peace across the 7 realms, the 7 Representatives of the realms considered that a ceremony should be established to remind everyone about the struggles and toll of war. It is for this reason that they came up with the ritual of Kabuji.
Kabuji is an ancient ritual, or a Game as some call it, where champions from all 7 realms join to honor their dimension. Kabuji is hosted in the city of Arche, an interdimensional space, specially constructed to host Kabuji.
The selection of champions happens by an ancient artifact, called the Epilogeas, which selects and summons champions in the Ether Zone for the sole purpose of joining the Kabuji ritual. While, champion selection isn’t voluntary, champions can drop out of the Game at any moment they want.
Kabuji doesn’t have specific rules: in fact, the rules and configuration of the Game have changed several times since the ancient times. The design of each ritual is conducted by the Kabuji Craftsmen. While not many things are known about the Craftsmen, what’s certain is that they try to keep each Kabuji cycle interesting for their champions.
